Initiated by Culture pour tous and made possible thanks to the financial participation of the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration, this Racines plurielles project promotes encounters between established citizens and newcomers to Québec.

In this context, the Guy-Bélisle library, in collaboration with ABL Immigration and the Village-des-Jeunes elementary school, developed in 2024 a children's book co-creation project that highlights diversity, acceptance, and inclusion. Author Isabelle Larouche, with the collaboration of Québec adults and children from various cultures, takes readers on a journey around the world through a variety of snacks.

Illustrated by Olga Urbanowicz, the book is also a tribute to the city of Saint-Eustache and its historical heritage.

Un délicieux voyage

After the publication of the book "Un délicieux voyage," the pages of the book were printed on aluminium panels and displayed along the Paul-Sauvé Promenade in Saint-Eustache. The work is exhibited during the summer of 2025.
